Caesars welcomes us with open arms, comping our room for 3 nights on the weekend, all our food, ect. Only went 'up the other way' about 5 times since that letter. We have been going to AC once about every 2 months for the past 5 years now. Sure it is a 3 hour drive for us, but well worth it. They did everything but get us down there. The offer was for a free room for the weekend, an open tab on dinner for two at Nero's or 2 other fine dining reastraunts, and two tickets to see Wayne Newtons Christmas show. Then one day we got an offer in the mail from Caesars in Atlantic City. I sure played enough to learn all the odds. Not one! And I consider myself an expert on Video Poker.
I remember some times going all day without even getting one 4 of a kind on video poker.
There were lines of people at times waiting for a machine to play, so at times we found ourselves just grabbing any machine that opened up, even if it wasn't appealing to us. Yes we are not high rollers by any means, but at times took 500 bucks each with us. We used to go frequently, about 2-3 weekends a month, and sometimes every weekend.
